Serabi Solo

This is my first time made Serabi Solo. Actually is not really difficult, just follow and understand the recipe and you can make it by yourself. So, I am going to give you the recipe and you can make it on your home.

Ingredients:
Serabi:
225 gr rice flour
½ tsp yeast
50 gr sugar
½ tsp salt
1 egg
600 ml coconut milk
Pandan leaf (for aroma)
Banana leaf (for cover) – cut to circle for the Serabi bottom, and heat it for a while

Areh:
200 ml coconut milk
A pinch of salt Pandan leaf (for aroma)

Topping: Chocolate/Cheese/jackfruit

Method:
  1.  Boil coconut milk, Pandan leaf, and salt. Chill.
  2. After it is chilled, pour the coconut milk mixture to the mixture of rice flour, yeast, and sugar. Mix.
  3. Pour the rest of the coconut milk texture slowly. Rest for around 1 hour.
  4. For making Areh, boil 200 ml coconut milk with a pinch of salt and Pandan leaf. Stir well.
  5. Heat your pan and pour a ladle of the Serabi mixture inside.
  6. Widened the mixture to the side of the pan. Let it bubble and sprinkle the topping.
  7. Close the pan and let it cooked well. Pour the areh mixture and close the pan for a while to let areh absorbs in the serabi mixture.
  8. Put the cooked serabi mixture on top of the banana leaf and roll them together.
