Hello, back again with me Ferin. Today, I made a croissant with two fillings, sweet and salty. They are Tuna and Egg Croissant Sandwich and Strawberry Shortcake Croissant. I chose to make it because it is easy to make and also tastes good. Here is the recipe:
Tuna and Egg Croissant Sandwich
Ingredients:
- 1 Croissant
- 1 Can tuna fish
- 1 Egg
- 1 Tomato
- 1 tbsp spicy mayonnaise
- 1/2 tbsp cooking oil
- 1/2 tbsp butter
- Pepper to taste
- Salt to taste
Directions:
- In a bowl, mix the tuna, spicy mayonnaise, pepper, and salt until it combines together.
- Cut croissant in half. Heat the pan, add the butter. Toast the croissant. Set aside.
- Pour cooking oil into the hot pan. Crack an egg directly into the pan, then fry it until the edges brown, without flipping.
- Top the bottom croissant halves with tuna, tomato, and egg. Sprinkle with the pepper. Cover with the top croissant halves.
Strawberry Shortcake Croissant (Recipe is from crazyadventuresinparenting.com)
Ingredients:
- Croissant
- Strawberries
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 1/2 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Directions:
- Add the heavy whipping cream and powdered sugar into a bowl and blend well until soft peaks.
- Pour the vanilla extract and whip until well combined.
- Cut the croissant in half.
- Slice the strawberries.
- Fill a piping bag with whipped cream and pipe cream onto one sliced side of the croissant.
- Add sliced strawberries to the top of the whipped cream, and top with the other side of the croissant.
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Here are the results:
Sincerely,
